At the heart of the foundation is Dr. Arigapudi Vijay Kumar, the philanthropist and culture champion, whose unwavering commitment has touched the lives of countless artisans, literary figures, and other cultural agents. Recognizing the need for a dedicated platform to perpetuate this legacy, Dr. AVK, guided by close associates, established the AVK Foundation, with one of the core ideals as ‘’Cultural Preservation’’. Since 2019, the foundation has not only supported and mentored artistic endeavors but has become the resonant voice of cultural preservation in South India.
Dr. AVK has relentlessly supported Harikathalu and other culturally significant dance forms have been encouraged under his patronage. It is when a visionary like this takes up the mascot that such art forms can survive the platitudes of time.

Focused on literary services, the Sahithi Wing’s purpose is to uphold Indian literary excellence, convey the richness, diversity, and vitality of Indian literature to the world, and establish a lasting cultural legacy while making a significant and ongoing contribution to the promotion of Indian literature.
Since its founding in 2019, the Sahithi Wing, under the umbrella brand of the AVK Foundation has published 25 books. It has worked to further its objectives by promoting Indian literature, raising literary awareness and recognizing authors and poets with awards.
